Wow, it's been a year since I last posted. Time sure flies by. Since my last post alot has happened. I lost my grampa to cancer and four beloved pets including my two yorkies Brutus and Jazzy they were killed by a cougar in september.
I opened my pet boutique called Fur Babies Boutique and am really enjoying it, and am still pursuing my photography.

rain rain go away...

come back another day. I don't much like the rain but I does make it smell like spring out there. I''ve been on the phone with adobe photoshop all am trying to get my photoshop converted over to Mac, as I traded in my PC. I can hardly wait to get it all up and running, I'm not very computer savy so its taken me a bit :o( Oh to be smart... lol.
My sisters kids came over yesterday to play in the snow. They were having snow much fun I had to get out there with my camera and get some shots.

... just wanted to share a few photos I took yesterday. First the pretty pink cake was made by my sister for her son. Yup.. her 8 yr.old little guy Kyler's fav color is pink. LOL. The fruit pizza I made for a group of ladies scrappin' at Sinkut View last night. Not only did it look pretty but tasted yummy too!

hello from Mexico

Its a hot +29 outside and I think I've allready burnt my cheeks. We are in the Myan Rivera our hotel is really nice. Our room has a sitting area, king size bed, walk in closet, his &hers vanitys, a jucczi tub for 2,and an indoor / outdoor shower the roof is grass open to the outside and bigger then my masterbath at home! We have a privet pool with built in lounge chairs, and a waiter who makes sure our drinks never run out. The white sandy beach goes as far as the eye can see on either side its so beautiful. We have reservations at a foundu restaraunt tonight.

Wyatt did it...

... he made the U16 hockey team! I'm sooo proud of him, only two boys from the team were picked both play fwd.

Rex and I leave for Mexico tomarrow, and I haven't even started packing or
cleaning the house.
I've been feeling so... blah lately. Actually for the past month and a half, all I want to do is stay in bed with Jazzy and Brutus.
I went to see the doc and he gave me some new drug to try once were back
from our holiday.

I guess I should start packing... what I don't know, I've gained a bit of weight over the winter and am not looking forwards to trying on my summer clothes:o(

I know what your thinking... Be Happy! your going on a holiday.
I know I will enjoy myself one we get there. Laying by the pool with a drink in hand, chatting with Rex, by ourselves, no kids, no dogs just us. Its been a looong time.

Happy New Year...

... well this past year was crazy busy, hopefully this new year will slow down a bit.
For New Years we booked 2hrs at the arena to play hockey with the family.
Mom and Dad came out to play too. They were doing great, untill mom fell over the goalie and broke her arm:o( After they left from the hospital the rest of us went back to our place to eat and drink well deserved bottle of wine or 2 or 3... LOL

Rex and Wyatt leave for Huston tomorrow, Wyatt is trying out for the U16 B.C hockey team. I'm sure Wyatt will do well as he is a great hockey player.

Darby and I are going snowboarding with the Freitas family, hopefully I come home in one piece. Rex and I are leaving for Mexico (Myan Riveara) next week.

Sorry...

...I've been crazy busy. I seem to say that alot don't I? Well it's true:o)
Hockey is in full swing once again. Wyatt is a second year banntom( his team will have a good chance at winning provincails again this year), Darby is on a Pee Wee Girls hockey team and doing very well. She and a few other girls from the team have been asked to play games with the boys team. Darby thinks that is pretty great because theres contact in the boys hockey.

I've been taking a online photography class with Candice Stringham for the last 5 weeks with 1 week togo. I can't beleive how much I've learn't so far!
Candice is a great teacher, she makes it really easy to understant all that technical stuff.
Next up is a class called Up and Running with Photoshop its being tought by Jessica Sprague. Shes the master of photoshop;o)

The weather has defiantly turned to fall it was -7 this morning. But looks like it should be a sunny day.

I've also been doing some sewing. I made Jazzy the cutiest little flannel dress. I'll post a picture of her in her new dress, she's sooo sweet!
I'm working on some christmas too, oh the fabric I found is just so yummy.
I want to make some thing for me out of it all. I love fabric it's like scrapbook paper you can never have to much.LOL. Wool felt is becoming very popular in sewing, I think I might have to try making a cute little pin coushin. HeatherBalley has some of the cutiest patterns.

I'm going to try to post once a week just to let you know whats going on!

home today gone towmorrow...

Darby and I got back from Dawson Creek yesterday, it was a looong hot drive. We made afew stops along the way to cool off, there were some nice lakes and rivers near pull outs. We stoped to cool off our feet and take a quick swim. We had a great time visiting the Carp family, thanks Dawn for everything!
Wyatt and I leave to go ocean fishing with Dad and Tash at 7am. so I'd better get packed! Wish me luck! I wana catch the biggest fish.LOL

a quick update

Well lots has been going on. I attended my Auntie Janets (thats Janet with one "n") LOL wedding in Calagry earlier this month, with my mom, dad and Darby.
She married this GREAT guy who I can call Uncle Mike, he has a very funny son Chris and a great ... wife to be someday Jackie with 2 beautiful kids Taylor and Parker. We got to visit with alot of family that I haven't seen in years. I have 2 cousins that I haven't seen since my wedding 15 yrs ago. They are so grown up. Kylee is the youngest 17, she is a beautiful singer ( watch for her on Canadian Idol )
Then there is Shelby shes 20... what can I say, you are one crazy girl .LOL Darby and I can't wait to see you again and your rubber chicken.lol

Darby and her great Gramma did some bonding, Darby gave gramma her first painted toenails in 79yrs! and they looked great! I think gramma even liked them :o)

This weekend Darby and I are going on a road trip to Dawson Creek to visit one of my best friends and her family. Can't wait to see them all :0)
Tonight Im off to a baby shower, my girlfriend Angela had a baby girl.
So I'd better go make a card!

I'm back...

It's been crazy as asual. I've almost got all my yard work done for this summer, just weeding and watering is left. My greenhouse is full of veggies and we are eating fresh veggies from the garden.
Wyatt has been going stircrazy! he fractured his wrist a few weeks ago, and can't wait to go mountin biking with his buds.
Darby and I've been scrappin' together alot in the evenings. She's also been working out on her grammas farm, to earn money to buy a dirtbike! Crazy girl.
I went to an estate auction yesterday and bought a few little treasures, no idea were I'll put them. But I just HAD to have them.
I wish we had antique flee markets here like they do in the States. Even so good antique stores, there's really nothing here or in P.G.

It's been a while...

... since I was here. I 've been trying to get my never ending yard work done, but the weather isn't helping. I'll post some pictures so you can see what I've been up too.
Rex and I went to Campbell River last week. Wow is it ever beautiful! We stayed at Painters Lodge. I drove a scooter for the first time and lived to tell about it.LOL. We also went on a 3hr wild life tour on a zodiak, I was a cinnamman bl. bear, egales, seals, porpous, and some valtures eating a
porpous.
My dear husband took me scrapbook store hunting, We found She Runs With Sissors. I was in stamp heaven LOL. It was a great store.
Next we went to THE Scrapbook Room, Lotsa eye candy.

oh... I must tell you about the great service I received. I've been looking for the Laural line from Senic Routie. Finally found it online, Tina's Scrapbooking Creations in Ontario. Tina is the best! check out her site www.tinascrapbooking.com

The kids are just about finished their school year. Darby has mostly feild trips left. I cann't beleive she is going to be going into grade7. Time flies.
Wyatt has 3 exams next week then hes finished and heading into grade 9.
He will be getting a job this summer working 5 days a week at his dads lumber yard. He needs to start making some money so he can aford to keep upgrading parts on his mountian bike. wow is that ever an expensive sport!
He belongs to the local mountian bike club Rippin' the North.

Tomorrow is my 15th wedding anniversary. Wow... time sure flies!
Instead of getting Rex a card I made him a new bookmarker.
I wish you could see just how nice it really is, the picture really doesn't do it justice. I think I might have to make myself one.

Rainy day...

... so I got caught up with my housework and did a little baking.
I'm getting the kids to clean their own rooms and bathroom, they are so messy! Good thing I love'em.

I just got my first order from Scarletlime (it's an online scrapbook kit club)
Sooo much eye candy, I can't wait to play with it!

On Thur. May 22nd it's mine and Rex's 15th wedding anniversary I wonder if he'll remember this year. He get the date mixed up, and he's been really bussy at work.

Spring ...

hopefully is here. My yard is comming alive with butterflys, bumblebees, hummingbirds and my feeders are full of sparrows, finiches, chickadees and warblers. The flower beds have green shoots comming up everywere and the trees are all leafing out.
I've planted my greenhouse full of tomatoes, cucummbers, peppers and herbs.
Rex and I have started building my raised veggetable beds, they should be done soon.

This morning at 9:21 am I looked out my window and saw a COUGER at the end of my drive way. I've never seen one before, the are big and beautiful. I can't beleive how thick their tail is.

I started this herbal D-tox cleanse 3 days ago... I quite, I want real food and I don't care if its not good for me!

Spring might be here!

Today was so nice, it was warm and sunny.
My hubby took the day of work today so we spent time
doing some yard work. Rex hung the wire in my greenhouse for me and
I cleaned out all my flower beds. then I went to work on reorganizing my greenhouse.
Rex took me out for a ride in his beloved Mustang, to get some icecream. (yum, yum) Then to the greenhouses, they opened today. I bought some yellow tomato plants .
My two yorkies spent the hole day outside with us , they are so sweet.
Now they are waiting for me to goto bed and snuggle them.
So Im off to bed.

My sister came over today and we spent most of our time scrappin'. She made some beautiful cards, and I was working on my mini book. I love it , its really starting to look great. Can't wait to finish it so I can show it off!

I can hear my kids arguing downstairs, dooon't bug me, Wyaiiitt dooon't,
it drives me crazy! They should be in bed by now . Guess I should go kick some butt :(

Where is Spring ?

Man this weather sucks, rainy and windy. I want Spring !

I 'm pretty pathetic, I went to the grocery store this morning and spent $46.98. Shouldn't take to long, I was there for almost 2hrs. What took me so long your thinking. I was walking up and down the isles just looking at everything. Kinda window shopping at the grocery store.
I deffinatly live in a small town, when that is my entertainment on a monday morning.
I started scrappin' when I got home and am just finished adding my last touch of glitter. I'll post some pics towmorrow.

I'm Back...

from Disneyland. We had a great trip, the weather was nice and warm and we all came home a little sunburnt.
We spent our first day at Knotts Berry Farm, the roller costers there are sooo FAST and SCARRY I allmost peed my pants ! The others Loved it.
My hubby spent some time at the largest Ford Mustang show that was taking place at Knotts. He was drooling!

We spent a few days at the Disneyland parks and a day at Newport Beach.
It was a really great holiday, it was extra special because my brother and his ... looong time girlfriend some day to be my sister-in-law came with us.
It was a holiday we won't so forget.

I leave at 6:45am...

... to Disneyland and can hardly wait. We woke up to -8 and 50 mile per hr. winds so with wind chill it was apx. -17 . NASTY.
I had to drive my 2 yorkies to the kennels today. I hate leaving them , they miss me and I miss them. I feel like Im missing something when they not with me.

Well Im going to head to bed with a nice glass of Australian Shiraz and read a few chapters of Lisa Jackson ( Lost Souls )

... till we leave for Disneyland ! I spent most my day scrappin'. I got asked by the ladies that own our local scrapbookstore to do some display layout using the new products. I'm havin' fun.

I'm gonna go kick my kids butt, the are taking there time getting to bed.
